Merits of Umm ul-Mumineen Sayyidah A'isha Siddīqa radi Allah anha

Merits of Umm ul-Mumineen Sayyidah A'isha Siddīqah Radiya Allāhu Anhā. Passed away on the 17th of Ramadan 58AH - Janāzah Prayer lead by Sayyidunā Abū Huraira.
A'isha said: "The Beloved Prophet ﷺ said to me that she had been shown to him in a dream for three nights, Jibrīl had brought her picture wrapped in silk and said to the Prophet ﷺ, "This is your wife." He unfolded the garment and saw her face and said, "If it is from Allah, then it will be so." [Bukhari]
"When Khadīja left this world, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ grieved a great deal and Allah sent Jibrīl and he brought him A'isha, and said, "Messenger of Allah, this one will remove some of your grief. In this woman you will find a successor to Khadījah. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to frequent the house of Abū Bakr and say, "Umm Rumān treat A'isha well." [Tabaqāt Ibn Sa'd]
Jibrīl said, "This is your wife in this world and the next." [Tirmidhī]
A'isha narrated: "That she lived with the Prophet ﷺ for nine years." [Tabarī]
"May Allah have mercy on Abū Bakr he married his daughter (A'isha) to me." [Tirmidhī]
"The excellence of A’isha over all women is like the excellence of al-Thareed (pieces of bread in vegetable or meat broth, this dish was the best of dishes) over all other foods." [Tirmidhī]
"A'ishah, this is Jibrīl who is sending you Salām." [Bukhāri]
"O Messenger of Allah, Which of the people is most beloved to you?" He ﷺ said, "A’isha." I said, "And from the men?” He said, "Her father." [Tirmidhī]
"Do not hurt me regarding A'isha, as the Divine Inspirations do not come to me on any of the beds except that of A'isha."[Ahmad]
"I have not seen anyone more eloquent than A’isha." [Tirmidhī]
"A'isha possessed knowledge of two thirds of Islam, no one has narrated more hadith than her except Abū Hurairah." [Fadā'il]
"The Companions would call A’ishah the beloved of the Messenger of Allah" [Ibn Asākir]
"Never did any hadeeth become difficult for us except that we asked A’isha, we found she had knowledge regarding it." [Tirmidhī]
"A'isha knew the science of division of the shares of Inheritance, he (Masrūq) said, "By Allah! I have seen senior Companions ask her questions of Inheritance". [Sunan Dāramī]
"When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was very ill, in his illnesses during which he was taken, he asked, "Where will I be tomorrow?" They answered, "with so-and-so." He said, "Where will I be after tomorrow?" They answered "with so-and-so." His wives recognised that he wanted A'isha and they said we have given our days to our sister A'isha." [Ibn Asākir]
A'isha would say: "One of the blessings Allah gave me was that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ left this world in my room and on my day and between my chest and collarbone and that Allah mixed his saliva with my saliva at his departure by using a Miswāq that I had chewed for him. [Ibn Asākir]
"I was preferred over the wives of the Messenger ﷺ by ten things, he never married any other virgin but me. He did not marry a woman both of whose parents were Muhājirūn except me. Allah revealed my innocence from the heavens. Jibrīl brought my picture from heaven to the Messenger ﷺ and said: "Marry her. She is your wife." I used to do ghusl with him from the same vessel, and he did not do that with any of his other wives. The revelation used to descend on him while I was with him, and it did not descend on him while he was with any other wife but me. Allah took his spirit while he was between my chest and collarbone, and he left this world on the night in which he used to come to me and the Messenger ﷺ was buried in my room." [Tabaqāt Ibn S'ad]
A'isha said: "Whenever I entered the house in which Prophet ﷺ and my father Abū Bakr are buried, I used to take off my sheet (from head) thinking that it’s only my father and husband (whom I am visiting), however By Allah! When Umar was buried with them, I never went inside without being fully covered, this is because of being shy of Umar." [Ahmad]
